Our Digital and Financial Inclusion program is designed to unlock economic empowerment for rural communities, with a special focus on women, through the power of digital technology and access to finance through in-house developed “Digital Sakhi”. This initiative not only promotes financial inclusion but also sparks entrepreneurship among women, facilitating income generation and economic growth. By developing Digital Seva Kendras, we provide essential community services and support various local businesses.
Our efforts align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities). Through this program, we are dedicated to creating opportunities and fostering equitable growth in rural areas, ensuring a brighter, more prosperous future for all.
Digital Sakhi project
In an increasingly developing भारत, promoting financial and digital literacy for women and the entire community
The Digital Sakhi Project aims to bridge the digital divide and promote financial literacy among women in rural communities. Under this initiative, women from villages are identified and trained to become Digital Sakhis by undergoing comprehensive digital and financial training modules. As part of the first component of the project, these trained Digital Sakhis further impart education to the community members with a special focus on women. The second component includes identifying and training existing women entrepreneurs, and equipping them with necessary skills of setting up their rural microenterprises with the technical support of entrepreneurship development experts. In the third component, these Digital Sakhis play the role of PUBLIC catalysts in linking the social entitlement schemes of the Government with the last mile beneficiaries.
In FY24, the Digital Sakhi project embarked on an expansion journey, reaching out to four new geographies across India. These included Bihar (Supaul), Uttar Pradesh (Gorakhpur), Tamil Nadu (Madurai), and West Bengal (Murshidabad), augmenting the existing projects already thriving in South and North Karnataka (Tumkur, Bidar, Gulbarga, and Kolar) as well as in Kerala (Alleppey and Kottayam).

Our Climate Impact Management initiative through Project Prakrutiis committed to fostering environmental sustainability and enhancing the livelihoods of local farmers. We focus on increasing green cover and biodiversity, which not only benefits the environment but also supports the agricultural community. By providing farmers with comprehensive training, essential resources, and ongoing support, we enable them to adopt sustainable horticulture practices and embrace multiple cropping systems.
These efforts help farmers improve their income and standard of living, leading to stronger, more resilient communities. Our initiative is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 15 (Life on Land), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Through these targeted actions, we are dedicated to making a significant, positive impact on both the environment and the communities we serve, ensuring a greener, more sustainable future for all.
Project Prakruti
Project Prakruti stands as LTF’s testament to the commitment to environmental conservation. LTF is dedicated towards promoting environmentally friendly practices and conservation efforts to safeguard the ecosystems in the communities wherever it operates. We aim to reach this goal by horticulture and dense forestation projects. This ambitious project focuses on planting saplings to increase the green cover which is the need of the hour. It also helps in the economic development of the local farming community.
Capacity Building for Water User Groups
Climate change has severely affected farmers across India. In order to restore the ecosystem and empower marginalised farmers, your Company implemented the Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) project called ‘Jalvaibhav’ in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. Additionally, the capacities of Water User Groups (WUGs) were strengthened through workshops on water structure maintenance and efficient management. These WUGs actively engaged in crop planning and resolving ground level conflicts.
CSR approach is deeply anchored in the core principles of inclusive growth and sustainability. The Company’s overarching objective is to enhance the influence of each initiative by embracing a holistic ‘3S Approach’
